Even If the user did every mentioned prospect correctly but the black screen is unchanged. As modern video cards require a strong power supply unit and if the power supply unit has incapacitated watt then the video card will fail to function. Resulting in the black screen of dead. To avoid this error, the user needs to go through the instruction and specification sheet provided with the video card and deliver the essential power supply to drive that video card. Remember the more powerful the video card is, the stronger will be the power supply that the user needs for it to drive.
An old version of the motherboard and a new version of the video card can also result in the black screen of dead. Be sure to have the latest and a powerful version of the motherboard which is supported by the video card.
Check whether the computer is using the newly installed video card or the default built-in graphics.
If it is using the integrated graphics then the user needs to change it to the external video card manually in the BIOS menu.
Even if these steps didn’t help, then one needs to seek professional help from an expert.
