Apple never fails to surprise its customer. With every new iOS version, Apple brings in some amazing features which shock the world around us. The Slam effect which has been widely accepted by the iOS user was introduced with the launch of iOS 10. Even though effects like the slam effect were introduced in android devices years ago, Apple tried to master the effect like no one else and did a pretty good job.

What is Slam Effect? 

So, the question still remains unanswered, i.e., what is the slam effect? Remember the time when playing trump cards with your friends was cool? Slamming the cards on the ground with the winning move always seems like a victory. Well, this is one of those moments. When you use the slam effect, the text which you choose to slam is thrown on your recipient’s screen which makes all the other emoji and texts get shaken from the aftershock. 

Well, the slam effect works perfectly all the time, making the user experience even better after every use. The special effects which shake the other messages are rather interesting and keep the users engage. 

How to Use Slam Effect? 

Well, most of the questions have been answered yet one of the most important ones is to be answered. Using the slam effect is an easy deal. All you need to do is follow the steps mentioned below.

  • Open iMessage and visit the person’s chatbox to who you want to send a slam text. 
  • Now enter the message you wish to send. 
  • After typing the text, hold the Send button for a few seconds to prompt out a new dialogue box. 
  • Here, you will find two broad distinguish effects, i.e., Bubble and Screen. 
  • Under this, select Bubble and select Slam. 
  • Once you do so, send the text and the message will slam on the recipient’s screen.
