How to recover iCloud Security Code? 

For iOS on an authorized device

• Visit Settings and look out for iCloud. 
• Here select Keychain >>Advanced and click on Change Security Code. 
• Now, the device will ask you for your Apple Identification password. 
• After providing the right identification password, you can set up the new iCloud security code. 

For iOS on an unauthorized device

• Go to Settings >>iCloud >>Keychain and turn on iCloud Keychain. 
• Provide the Apple Identification Password if the device asks for the same. 
• Click on Approve with Security code >>Forgot Code >> Reset iCloud Keychain. 
• Confirm all the steps you just took. 
• Now, all you need to do is follow the instructions to set up a new iCloud Keychain security code.

For Mac OS

• Select System Preferences in the Apple Menu and click on iCloud>> Keychain and enter the Apple Identification password. 
• Click on Use Code >>Forgot Code >>Reset Keychain. 
• This will give you the option to enter your new password and reset the iCloud security code. 

It is advised to change the iCloud keychain security code if you don’t know the right passcode. If you attempt to open your iCloud keychain with the wrong password, you might end up risking all the data present in your iCloud. As a security measure, Apple deletes all the data present in iCloud if the wrong password has been entered a lot of times.
