Ways to Disable Screen Mirroring on Android:

Most android phones come with a default setting of screencasting or screen mirroring feature through which the content of the phones gets displayed on other devices.

You have to tap on the hidden quick links on your phone’s screen and there you would notice a screencasting icon that resembles a box with the Wi-Fi logo.

After finding this icon click on it to start the scan for all available devices. Click twice to stop the search. The connection of your phone with any nearby device would be stopped.

Ways to Disable Screen Mirroring on iPhone:-

By following some easy steps you can easily disable it:-

  • Tap on the settings on your home screen and scroll down
  • Click on the ‘General’ tab
  • Amongst the different options click on ‘accessibility’
  • Locate the tab named ‘guided access’ by scrolling down
  • You would find the ‘Mirror Display’ option
  • Tap on the left to turn it off and now you’re done

Ways to Disable Screen Mirroring on Samsung TV:-

Users find it quite fun to share content from their phone to their Smart Samsung TV. You have to login into the SmartThings app to turn off this feature. Since with the help of this app, a connection between your TV and phone is established.

From the homepage, you would find the Smart View option, click on that. You are just required to slide the option toward the left to disable this feature.

One of the alternative ways is to turn off the network connection between your device and TV on the SmartThings app. From the connection guide, you need to open screen sharing and tap on NO. This would disable this feature.

Ways to Disable Screen Mirroring on LG TV:-

To link and enable TV sharing with the LG smart TV, LG ThinQ is responsible for it. This makes the whole process quite simple and lucid. After opening the app you are just required to go to the screen sharing option.

Click on all the connected devices from the screen sharing tab which you need to disable. For completing the process tap on the disconnect tab.

You can also uninstall the LG ThinQ app from your device for canceling the option of active screen sharing between devices as well as your phone.

Conclusion

It is suggested while using screen mirroring users should not try to exit from the existing application through which they are seeing it. Otherwise, it would put an end to telecasting. Both wired, as well as wireless screen mirroring, can be accessible.

The users often get confused while using screen mirroring, with different anonymous terminologies which often function with an option of the screen display.

This article would act as a guide in helping the users to disable the feature of screen mirroring.
