Apple unveils iOS 7 : What’s new in it

Apple introduced it’s latest version of iOS on the WWDC event. iOS7 comes with a improved good looking user interface and some new features like Control Center, AirDrop for iOS etc. We are explaining about some features. Not every update in the iOS is mentioned here.

What are the new features in iOs 7

#1.Control Center

It gives you quick access to the controls and apps by swiping from the bottom of the screen. A window will come up with basics settings in it. Using the sontrol center, you can:

  •  Turn on or off Airplane mode,Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Do Not Disturb
  • Lock your screen’s orientation or adjust its brightness.
  • Play, pause, or skip a song. Connect to AirPlay-enabled devices
  • And quickly access your flashlight, timer, calculator, and camera

#2.Notification Center

This one is similar to android’s notification. Swiping from top of the screen will open up the notification.  The design is good. There are three tabs given in notification – today,all and missed. Each tab shows the notification as the title indicates.

#3.Improved multitasking

iOs 7 introduces a smarter way to multitask. pressing the home button will show you a window with preview screens of the apps you have open. To quit an app, just swipe it up and out of preview.

#4.Camere with some new features

They have included come new filters in the camera of  iOS 7 . Now many options can be accessed by swipe options. There is nothing extra ordinary in this update but nice.

#5.Find My iPhone

This feature enables users to protect their data if the iPhone is stolen. Surely nobody wants loose a phone that is costly. Find My iPhone enables users to erase the device just by using their Apple ID and password. Even after your device is erased your Apple ID and password are required before anyone can reactivate it so that no one other than you can use your iPhone.
